Meet The Team

Ashley Talley
Owner • Level 5 Stylist
With over two decades of experience in the salon and spa industry, Ashley Dixon Talley leads Serenity with a passion for excellence, hospitality, and heart. Her journey began as a teenager at the front desk and has grown into owning one of South Arkansas’ most recognized salon and spas, known for blending beauty, wellness, and purpose. Ashley is a graduate of Toni&Guy, a former TIGI educator, a current MoroccanOil Ambassador, a certified skin and laser technician, and a devoted community leader. Ashley is known for creating a workplace culture where team members feel empowered, supported, and inspired. She’s passionate about building meaningful client relationships and delivering a truly elevated experience, blending beauty, wellness, and faith in every detail of Serenity.
Ashley’s first priority is her faith and family, and she encourages her team to always put theirs first as well. Her career is a true passion, but she also finds joy in reading (the library at Southern Serenity is her childhood dream come true), traveling, and cheering on her boys at the ballfield.

Shay Garrett
Level 4 Stylist • Salon + Spa Manager
I’m a hairstylist at heart. It is more than a job, it’s my passion and my creative outlet. I believe the time someone spends in my chair should feel like their time, whether they need a good conversation or a quiet reset.
My goal is always to meet people where they are and make them feel seen, heard, and taken care of. I take pride in my work, my timing, and in offering a high standard of service every single time.
I specialize in cutting, coloring, and highlighting with various techniques. For me, it’s not just about doing hair, it’s about building trust and relationships one appointment at a time.

Bonnie Keith
Level 3 Stylist • Brand Manager
I specialize in cut and color, with a special love for rich reds and embracing the beauty of curly hair. Whether I’m behind the chair or behind the scenes, my goal is always the same: to help people feel seen, confident, and cared for.
What I love most about my dual role is the chance to blend creativity with connection — enhancing not only someone’s look, but also the spirit and story of the Serenity brand.
Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me creating something, finding ways to give back to my community, or spending quality time with friends (and probably laughing too loud while I’m at it).

Genevieve Hamilton
Level 3 Stylist • Apprentice Coordinator

Kayla Mayo Garner
Level 2 Stylist • BareMinerals Coordinator
I specialize in vivid, high-impact colors that let my clients express exactly who they are — whether that’s bold, bright, or beautifully unexpected. I believe hair should be fun, fearless, and a reflection of your personality, and I love using my creativity to make that vision come to life.
For me, it’s not just about creating great hair (though that’s always the goal!) — it’s about helping people feel confident, empowered, and seen. Whether you’re in my chair for a big transformation or a small refresh, I want you to leave feeling like the best version of yourself.
Outside of the salon, you’ll find me exploring new color trends, laughing with friends, or planning my next adventure — preferably with a coffee in hand and something neon nearby

September Goodrum
Level 2 Stylist
I’m a cosmetologist with a passion for all things hair, and I also love offering customized spray tans, pedicures, and relaxing Japanese head spas. What I love most about my work is its versatility and the chance it gives me to help people feel more confident and cared for. For me, this career is more than just beauty—it’s a ministry and a way to connect with others on a deeper level.
I’m grateful to work in a place where everyone is welcomed like family and leaves feeling seen, refreshed, and valued. Outside of the salon, I enjoy camping, lake days, and soaking up quality time with my husband, friends, and family. I try to live life with a genuine heart, a driven spirit, and just the right amount of goofiness along the way.

Callie Waller
Level 1 Stylist
Hair is my art, my outlet, and my way of connecting with people. Whether you’re in my chair for a full transformation or just a quick touch-up, I’m here to listen, laugh, and help you feel like your absolute best. I believe in creating real, fun, and personalized experiences so your hair goals aren’t just talked about, but fully achieved.
I specialize in custom airbrush spray tans, precision cuts, color, men’s cuts, facial waxing, and Goddess Genius hair extensions to help you look and feel amazing from head to toe.
When I’m not doing hair, you’ll probably find me cheering from the sidelines at a kids’ sports practice or game, or spending quality time with friends and family, soaking up all the good vibes.

Caylea Brummett
Apprentice
My favorite part of my job is helping clients feel their best when they leave — whether it's rocking a new color, enjoying a fresh blowout, or relaxing with a Japanese head spa. If you need someone to talk to or just want to wind down from the chaos of everyday life, I’m always happy to go with the flow.
I especially love working with wavy and curly hair and helping clients start their hair journey. When I'm not behind the chair, I enjoy lounging with my cats, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music. My ultimate goal is to help every guest feel better than when they arrived — confident, cared for, and authentically themselves.

Carrie Gann
Master Massage Therapist • Lash Stylist • Spa/Nail Tecnician • Spa Coordinator
After feeling burned out in college, I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts and found my true passion in massage therapy, something my grandmother always joked I’d be great at. She loved when I’d massage her shoulders and encouraged me to turn it into a career, and eventually, that encouragement became a dream come true.
I hold licenses in both massage therapy and cosmetology, and recently became a Master Massage Therapist, a title that reflects my 125 hours of continuing education and allows me to teach CE hours to other therapists. I’m committed to my craft and always growing in it.
My style blends a wide range of techniques, customizing each session to the guest’s unique needs. I use deep tissue, stretching, cupping, bamboo, and Ashiatsu (a barefoot massage that delivers broad-spectrum deep tissue work.) I like to mix things up and tailor every session to the client’s needs.
I love that no two people are the same. Every session brings something new, and the relationships built along the way are the best part of what I do.

Viola Ainsworth
Licensed Massage Therapist
I was born in Magnolia but grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas (home to Buc-ee’s!)
I became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2015 after completing my certification at Brazosport College and passing the MBLEx in 2016. I began my career at Massage Heights in Lake Jackson, where I trained in various modalities including Hot Stone, Prenatal, Hydrotherapy, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic, and TMJ work, always tailoring each session to the client’s unique needs.
In 2021, I moved back to Magnolia and earned my Arkansas massage license, making me dually licensed in both Texas and Arkansas.
Since joining Serenity, I’ve expanded my skills in advanced spa care, using my knowledge of muscle tissue to support healing of the mind, body, and soul.
Thanks for getting to know a little more about me, I look forward to seeing you at Serenity!

Royce Ann Franks
Licensed Massage Therapist
I fell in love with massage therapy many years ago after my niece and a close friend inspired and encouraged me to begin my journey. In 2016, I graduated massage therapy school, received my license, and truly found my calling.
For me, massage isn't just about routine and relaxation. It's my passion. I find so much joy in seeing my clients get up off the table feeling renewed and pain free. It's truly a humbling experience.
I'm always focusing on my clients' specific muscle issues, approaching each one with detailed care. I'm able to help people with muscular immobility, extreme tension, TMJ, sciatic pain, and migraines. I use multiple massage modalities such as Thai, deep tissue, and lymphatic drainage. Every visit begins with a consultation, so you will receive a personalized experience designed according to your specific issues.
In my spare time, I enjoy junk journaling, crochet and macrame, sewing, baking, and gardening. Of course, a good cup of coffee on the back porch is always time well spent.

Brianna Brummett
Licensed Esthetician
I love every aspect of what I do—whether it’s creating a moment of relaxation or performing facial treatments or waxing services. If I had to choose a favorite, though, it would be the dermaplane facial. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing those instant, glowing results.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and I often unwind by drawing in my free time. Above all, I’m passionate about helping clients feel confident in their own skin. I truly believe confidence is key, and my goal is always to help each person leave feeling their absolute best.

Anna Kidd
Payroll Manager
I began my journey with Serenity as a receptionist in high school and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere and values of the organization. During college, I served as Director of Operations, where I oversaw inventory management, account balances, payroll, front desk training, and system maintenance. In 2022, I graduated with a BBA, concentrating in accounting.
Today, my role has evolved into a part-time, behind-the-scenes position as Payroll Manager. Over the past 11 years, Serenity has provided me with invaluable experience in business operations and has fostered lifelong relationships with my coworkers. I’ve especially cherished getting to know our clients and their families—it’s been a privilege to be part of their lives.

Madison Grimmett
Operations Manager • Social Media Manager
I manage the front desk, social media, and day-to-day operations at Serenity, and I genuinely love what I do. I enjoy taking care of the behind-the-scenes details so every guest’s experience feels smooth and thoughtful.
What makes Serenity so special to me is the culture; it’s truly a place that feels like home. I love walking in each day to a team I’m proud to be part of and clients I enjoy connecting with.
Whether I’m working behind the scenes or talking to a guest at the front desk, my goal is to help make everyone’s experience welcoming, exciting, and memorable!

Adley Walker
Receptionist
I’ve been working at Serenity since I was 15, but my connection to the salon goes back even further—I grew up coming to Serenity as a client. Now, as one of the front desk receptionists, I help create a welcoming and organized experience by greeting clients, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
As a senior in high school, I feel incredibly grateful to work in a Christ-centered and uplifting environment. While I don’t plan to pursue a career in cosmetology, my time at Serenity has helped me grow in professionalism, communication, and confidence. It’s a joy to be part of a team that truly values people, and strive to make every guest feel cared for and at home from the moment they walk through the door.

Kylie Rogers
Receptionist
I’ve been working at Serenity for almost a year as a receptionist. What started as a simple job while in school quickly became something much more meaningful. I discovered a true passion for the hair industry and realized it’s the path I want to follow long-term. I’m now enrolled at Texarkana College to pursue my cosmetology certificate, and I’m excited for the journey ahead and everything the future holds in this field I’ve grown to love.
